Dispute Resolution and Advertising Counselor

Work for a dynamic organization in Northern Colorado focused on promoting integrity in the marketplace. Interact with a
dynamic team passionate about the Better Business Bureau and the value they provide to consumers and customers. We are looking for a motivated, action-oriented, and results-oriented person to assist in the dispute resolution department for the BBB serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming.

Primary focus of the position is to work as a team member in the dispute resolution department interacting with consumers and businesses to help in resolving marketplace disputes along with coordinating the advertising review program.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Ability to handle/facilitate conflicts between consumers and businesses to bring about a resolution
• Run reports as required to maintain data
• Ability to research information through the internet and other mediums
• Coordinate Advertising Review program
• Work effectively with all Bureau team members to support overall organization goals

Here’s what we are looking for:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of communication experience, preferably in customer service and/or conflict management
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records
• Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills
• Strong and effective communicator, both oral and written mediums
• Works effectively in a team and independently
• Promotes and adapts to change as needed
• Bachelors level of education or higher; or equivalent experience
• Proficient in use of standard office computer technology and software
• High integrity, creative, results-oriented, collaborative individual
