Northern Colorado participants in the Better Business Bureau’s Workers’ Compensation Group are sharing a $2,206,719 dividend from Pinnacol Assurance for the 2007-08 policy year.
With 323 participants, the BBB serving northern Colorado is one of the largest Pinnacol Assurance Workers’ Compensation Group plans in the state. Over the duration of the partnership, more than $7.1 million has been paid back to BBB members in the form of dividends, according to Pamela King, CEO/president of the BBB serving northern Colorado.
In order to participate in the BBB Worker’s Compensation group, a BBB Accredited Business must be licensed to do business in the state of Colorado and qualify to participate in the program. Individual policies are written by area member insurance agencies.
The dividend rewards Pinnacol policyholders who have good safety records and low claims costs. Pinnacol Assurance is Colorado’s largest and oldest provider of workers’ compensation insurance.
